Hi! I’m Ale, a 20-something Latina who loves to save money, make yummy meals, and travel on the cheap. I’m so happy to welcome you to my little piece of the internet!
Having grown up in a family with zero money, I was always terrified that I’d never be able to “make it” and be financially secure. I was never taught how to budget or how to save. I thought living paycheck-to-paycheck was normal. Sound familiar?
After a lot of learning, growing, and plenty of mistakes along the way, I discovered the FI/RE movement. FI/RE stands for Financial Independence, Retire Early, and it’s changed my life. For the first time I realized that I don’t have to work until I’m 65. If I’m smart with my money, budget and embrace homemade meals (which can be amazing, btw!) I can retire wayyyyyy before 65. Isn’t that incredible?
So with this newfound mission to retire early, I’ve learned to budget. I’ve learned to save. I’ve learned to invest. I’ve traveled to beautiful places for CHEAP. I’ve learned how to make amazingly delicious and easy food.
I want to teach YOU how to do the same.
Because guess what? It’s not that hard. It’s totally doable. And the rewards are incredible! Wouldn’t it be amazing if you didn’t have to live paycheck-to-paycheck? If you could travel the world? Learn a new skill? Have freedom to pursue your TRUE passions? You CAN. You WILL.
